    How does Blue Sky determine storage pricing?

    While Blue Sky makes storage easy, pricing it can be a little complex. To ensure you’re getting a fair deal, we tailor our prices to the type, size, location and storage arrangement of your storage as detailed below. Before deciding on your storage provider, you should also know about billing cycles….

    BILLING: COMPARING APPLES TO ORANGES?

    Watch out! Not all billing cycles are equal. Blue Sky bills monthly on the anniversary of your move-in. Meanwhile, some some of our competitors  bill every four (4) weeks (or every 28 days, which adds up to the equivalent of one extra month per year!).

    PRICING FACTORS

    The cost for storage with Blue Sky depends on:

    SIZE AND TYPE: Blue Sky offers different types of storage – mobile storage, self storage and vehicle storage – with different sizes available for each. Our pricing starts at $99.99 per month + HST (our fall/winter rate for regular parking. See below for help determining what size of mobile storage container is best for you).

    LOCATION: Each transport of our portable storage containers incurs a fee, determined by distance from our Burlington facility. Transport fees currently start at $89.99 + HST (Zone 1 fee as of 22/10/27, subject to change based on market price of diesel. Zones are 1-4: 0-25km / 26-50km / 52-75km / 76-100km respectively, with additional per km fees beyond 100km). 

    STORAGE ARRANGMENT: For our mobile storage rental containers, we offer different storage arrangements to meet your needs. These include at your site (no additional fee) or at our site (fees apply for outdoor no access access / outdoor with 24/7 access / indoor climate controlled with access by appointment). Storage arrangements can be changed during a contract, subject to availability.
